Introducing Prism Events: Broadcast-Quality Online and Hybrid Events Without the Chaos

I’ve been around live events for as long as I can remember. My mum and dad ran an events company, so from about sixteen I was lugging flight cases, running cables and learning what it really takes to make a show work. I started out freelancing on other people’s kit, helping agencies deliver their productions, and as my experience grew, I began building my own client base, a small business built on specialist skills and trusted by some very big organisations. It has been a long apprenticeship of late nights, airports and lessons about what makes events truly run well.

Then the world changed. The travel stopped, the industry went online and suddenly everyone was expected to be a broadcast producer from their spare room. Overnight, “virtual events” became a buzzword, and with it came every mistake you can imagine: awkward pauses, people talking while muted, chaotic agendas and that dreaded echo that makes everyone wince.

I watched countless organisations, smart, capable teams, trying to run high-stakes events over Zoom or Teams with no professional support. And I thought: it doesn’t have to be this stressful, or this bad.

Someone just needs to take control… and get paid for it. Preferably me.

Why I Created Prism

That is where Prism Events comes in.

I built Prism to help organisations deliver online and hybrid events that look and feel like TV broadcasts, the kind that protect your reputation, engage your audience and make your leadership look good.

We’re not an agency. There is no sales team that disappears after you sign, no trainees learning on your event and no hidden overheads quietly added to the invoice. Just a small group of experienced freelancers, people I trust, who have done this hundreds of times before.

It is calm, structured and professional from start to finish. You see the results, not the chaos behind the scenes.

What Makes Prism Different

Most event companies try to be everything to everyone.
Prism doesn’t.

We focus entirely on three things:

- Virtual Events: polished, professional Zoom or Teams broadcasts that keep audiences engaged.
- Hybrid Events: seamless experiences for in-room and online audiences, with no echoes, no glitches, and no stress.
- Online Conferences: multi-session, multi-speaker productions that feel like live television, not a chaotic group call.

Behind the scenes, we use the same broadcast-grade tech agencies often outsource to, including production calls, countdown timers, branded overlays, redundancy backups and real-time speaker cues. The difference is that when you work with Prism, you are talking directly to the people who actually run your event.

No middlemen. No confusion. Just professionals who have done it before and know how to make it work.

For Existing Clients, Nothing’s Changed (Except the Name)

If you have worked with me before, you already know what to expect: calm, reliable delivery and honest communication. This isn’t a reinvention, it is simply putting a proper name, platform and polish behind the work I have been doing for years.

The same care, the same people, just a sharper identity that reflects what we actually do best

For New Clients, Here’s What You’ll Get

If you have ever been burned by an unreliable supplier or left running a live stream yourself because the “experts” disappeared at showtime, you will find working with Prism refreshingly different.

We handle the stress, the timing, the tech and the inevitable last-minute curveballs, quietly, professionally and without fuss. You get your time back, your team’s confidence restored and an event you can actually be proud of.
